SAVS Welcomes its New Principal

ROSARIO B. SOSITO, Principal II
The new year marks another chapter in SAVS history. January 4, the first school day for 2016 is also the first day of Mrs. Rosario B. Sosito, or Ma'am Chary as she in fondly called, as Secondary School Principal II of San Andres Vocational School.

Ma'am Chary took over the school's top post after Ms. Amelia R. Eusebio, the school's Principal since 2009 was promoted to Principal III and transferred to Catanduanes National High School in Virac, Catanduanes.

Prior to her transfer to SAVS, Ma'am Chary was the school Principal of Viga Rural Development High School in Viga, Catanduanes.

She was formally welcomed by SAVS faculty and personnel during the Welcome Party sponsored by SAVSEA (SAVS Employees Association) on January 22, 2016.

In her message, she is delighted to be finally home. She compared her life with SAVS into a story with three episodes in reference to the years of being a Savsian.

The first episode was during her high school years where, in her own words, didn't have much drama as she finished her secondary education in SAVS being an ordinary student.

The second episode when she became the Guidance Counselor of SAVS. Even as Guidance Counselor she normally had teaching loads and eventually opted to become a full time teacher as Master Teacher I. She was then promoted to Secondary School Principal I and assigned to another as school head.

The third episode is her latest promotion to Principal II and was brought back to SAVS as the school head. She vowed that under her leadership, participation in crafting of plans and decision-making is a top priority

The school faculty and personnel were delighted to see a familiar personality and an alumna taking the school's leadership. During the welcome ceremony, SAVS employees represented by the SAVSEA President, Mr. Joseph Camacho, vowed their support of Ma'am Chary's leadership.

Aside from the School Principal, SAVS faculty and personnel also welcomed new members of the SAVS family - Ms. Ma. Lorylyn B. Reyes who moved in from Catanduanes National High School, and Mrs. Cynthia T. Toledo from Supang-Datag National High School.

At the same time, a send-off party dedicated to those who were transferred out was done for MS. Amelia R. Eusebio, the former school head (promoted to Principal III and moved to Catanduanes National High School), Mrs. Rosalinda A. Burce, former Head Teacher (promoted to Principal I and moved to Condon National High School) and Mr. Rommel T. Lizaso (moved to Bato Rural Development High School).
