As provided for in the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Constitution and By-laws, San Andres Vocational School (SAVS) joined other secondary schools in the country in conducting the synchronized elections for the SSG on Friday, February 20, 2015 for the set of officers who will assume office by School Year 2015-2016.
Running unopposed for central officer positions is the LET'S GO (Leadership and Education Through Student Government Officers) Party of Joal Cocjin (9-Aguinaldo) as President, Franchesqa Myluck Samonte (7-Diamond) as Vice-President, Liane Mariette Sales (9-Aguinaldo) as Secretary, Catherine Jones Cantalejo (9-Aguinaldo) as Treasurer, Jona Mae Arnaiz (9-Aguinaldo) as Auditor, Melissa Aquino (9-Aguinaldo) as PIO and Nikki Joyce Subion (9-Aguinaldo) as Peace Officer.
Students also elect three Representatives for each grade level. Fouth year students also voted for the central officers but not for representative since they are expected to graduate this School Year.
Representatives of Grade 7 for the coming School Year shall be held in the first week of July 2015, as also stated in the Constitution and By-Laws
In a proclamation ceremony held last Monday, February 23, 2015, SSG COMELEC Adviser, Mr. Ruben T. Santelices proclaimed the winners based on the final tally of votes.
