As part of the school's mission to develop not only the mental but as well as the physical, social, and emotional skills and abilities of every student, San Andres Vocational School (SAVS) holds its annual school Intramurals on August 12-14 2014, with the theme, "Building Strong Studentry Through Sports".

The three-day sporting event kicked off through a parade joined in by student-athletes, coaches, and other school personnel. Led by the candidates for Mr. and Ms. SAVS Intrams 2014, each participating unit went around the town proper of San Andres in order to promote the said event in the community.

The opening program immediately followed after the parade. SAVS principal, Ms. Amelia R. Eusebio, formally declared the opening of games. In her message to the student-athletes, the principal emphasized the importance of buiding the right attitude towards competition. The same message was affirmed by the athletes in their Oath of Amateurism.

The Intramurals also serves as a avenue for the school to select its best athletes in preparation for the Division Athletic Meet sometime in September this year.

The final competition and coronation of "Mr. and Ms. SAVS Intramurals 2014" was also a part of the Opening Program.
